Three die defending property in eastern Utah from wildfire
(July 2007) Three people died and a child narrowly escaped the same fate
while attempting to defend property in eastern Utah from the Neola
wildfire. According to Sheldon Wimmer, the state fire management
officer for the BLM, this is the first time that civilians have died in
Utah in a wildfire.
