Two students propose their own degree in Emergency Management at the U

Brian Williams and Stuart Moffatt each recently received approval for a Bachelor's of Undergraduate Studies (BUS) at the University of Utah in Emergency Management and Disaster Studies. These enterprising individuals put together a suite of courses from departments around campus and submitted their respective proposals to Undergraduate Studies under the BUS program. This program was designed to allow students to create their own interdisciplinary major in a field not covered by a department on campus. Brian and Stuart will both be working with Cnth on the creation of a new certificate in Emergency Management at the U.
